10/6/03 Shyam has been in Mother's Day Out now for a month. He goes 2 day a week. He cried every time I dropped him off for the first 6 classes, but the teachers said that he perked up as soon as all the moms left. He doesn't cry anymore and waves bye-bye to me the minute we hit the door! He is talking up a storm. His favorite saying right now is "GET OFF!"
He's a stinker - he's going to be Cookie Monster for Halloween and loves Blue's Clues!!!
11/2/03 Shyam cried Halloween night for the first 2 or 3 houses. The he figured that all he had to do was ring a doorbell and he got a treat. Even if the homeowners were outside handing out candy - he would still run up to the door, ring the bell, and yell "Twick ow tweat!!!"
2/3/04 - Shyam had a great birthday! He had a small party at home with a few of his buddies. It went great until all the children wanted to open and keep their own gifts! It was quite amusing! Shyam loves to practice Tae Kwon Do moves with Vishal.
3/18/04 - We are potty training! Hopefully it will work. He seems ready and can stay dry for extended amounts of time - but he's so busy doing other things, it's really hard to get him to stop and even listen to what I am trying to say. We'll keep updating!!!
11/04/04 - Well neddless to say, we are potty trained and have been for some time! He loves preschool and has learned the best songs including "Five coconuts". We had an unfortunate bout of Cholangitis which landed him in the hospital, be he seemed to bounce back fairly quickly and is back to being himself. He is so active, there are days that I feel like I can't keep up with him anymore!!!
